Content accessibility audits

A content accessibility audit looks at the accessibility of the words, structure, layout, images, audio, video and data visualisations on your website.

Our content accessibility audits provide a detailed review of your digital content to improve user experiences for disabled people. We ensure that your content follows the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and complies with the European Accessibility Act.

Content accessibility audits from Content Design Ireland are designed to help you:

  • fix WCAG errors
  • follow accessibility best practice, taking your website above compliance and into real accessible experiences
  • boost your skills - we give you practical advice on improving your site’s accessibility and embedding accessibility into your design

When to have a content accessibility audit

If you haven’t had a content accessibility audit yet, it’s time to have one now! It’s always a good idea to have a content accessibility audit to check that your website meets legal standards and is as accessible as possible.

More than 96% of all errors found by the WebAIM million report were related to content, so it’s the area of your website where accessibility can make the biggest difference.

Pricing for content accessibility audits

A comprehensive audit of 10 pages of your website costs €699. This includes:

  • a report highlighting what’s wrong and how to fix it
  • a prioritisation approach to help you decide where to start
  • an accessible content design checklist full of practical, actionable advice
  • 10% off our accessible content design training course

We can help you choose a selection of pages to audit.

For an audit covering more pages of your site, or a follow-up audit after you’ve made improvements, email contact@contentdesignireland.ie.

Social media reviews

A social media review looks at the accessibility of the words, emoji use, hashtags, images, audio, video and data visualisations on your social media. After we review the accessibility of your social media, we recommend improvements.

We don’t call this an audit, because we don’t expect you to change past posts. It helps you plan how to be more accessible and inclusive in your social engagement in future.

Social media reviews from Content Design Ireland provide a detailed analysis of your social media content to improve user experiences for disabled people. We ensure that your posts follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and comply with the European Accessibility Act.

Our Social media reviews are designed to help you:

  • fix WCAG errors
  • follow accessibility best practice, taking your social media posts above compliance and into real accessible experiences
  • boost your skills - we give you practical advice on improving your social media accessibility and embedding accessibility into your social team

When to have a social media review

If you haven’t had a social media review yet, it’s time to have one now! It’s a good idea to have a review to check that your social media content meets legal standards and is as accessible as possible, particularly if you’re about to start a new campaign.

Pricing for social media reviews

We charge €299 for each social media platform we review. Reviews look at your company’s profile page and up to 15 posts. We’ll choose different types of post so that you can get the most from our recommendations. You’ll receive:

  • a report highlighting areas to improve in future
  • a prioritisation approach to help you decide where to start
  • an accessible communications checklist full of practical, actionable advice
  • 10% off our accessible communications training course

For reviews covering 3 or more social media platforms, or a follow-up review after you’ve made improvements, email contact@contentdesignireland.ie.
